Power flushing is recommended to improve the efficiency, extend the life span and reduce running costs of a heating system.
Many central heating systems have circulation and boiler noise problems caused by the accumulation of sludge, corrosion deposits and scale known as magnetite. Traditional methods of flushing simply don’t get rid of all the debris, and problems often quickly return.
Power Flushing is a highly effective method of forcibly cleaning heating systems using water at high velocity, but low pressure, so that no physical damage is caused to the system. The process is made more effective with the addition of powerful cleaning and mobilising agents. Power Flushing enables heating systems to be purged of sludge, scale and corrosion deposits with minimal dismantling and disruption.
It is recommended to power flush a heating system when fitting a new boiler to an existing system to prevent possible future problems. Many systems are found to contain corrosion and sludge, even if no flow problems have yet shown themselves.
